NBC Symphony Orchestra - Isoldes Liebestod (1942) on HMV 102 - Improved Version
I have uploaded this record before, but since the sound quality of the video was terrible, and somebody requested me to upload more improved version, I decided to upload this again. NBC Symphony orchestra with Arturo Toscanini conducting plays Wagner's 'Isoldes Liebestod' from "Tristan Und Isolde" for Victor in 1942. One of my favorite Toscanini recordings. His works of Wagner compositions are really romantic, fantastic, and dreamy. This is a special "Christmas Greetings for 1942" vinyl pressing, with Toscanini's (printed) autograph on the label. Although this is a vinyl record, there's no problem to play this on the acoustic machines, since it is slightly different from the Vinyl 78s from 1950s - much harder and heavier.
